Getting to know Becky:
I was born in Germany as my dad was in the RAF so I’ve been lucky to see a lot of the world and even in different countries, including Oman for three years which was an experience I will never forget. Outside of work I love visiting National Trust properties for walks and to soak up the history, going to gigs and music festivals, reading, baking and spending time with my friends and family, especially my husband and two cats Rufus and Martha.
Work History:
From a very young age, I wanted to work in business management (mainly because I thought the idea of owning a laptop and briefcase looked fun!) so I went to do a degree at the University of Nottingham in Management Studies and it was there that I fell in love with marketing and knew this was the area I wanted to explore. Since then, I have been in sales and marketing roles both in-house for companies and sectors such as furniture and jewelry, before starting at DBS when I wanted to work for an agency.
What’s your favourite thing about working at DBS:
Apart from the fantastic team which has a great family feel, what I love most about my job is the variation. Working with a range of clients in different industries and helping them create content that boosts their business is great and always keeps me on my toes. No two days are the same and I love that!
