March has continued to provide some fantastic achievements for Team DBS. Still on a high from our previous award win at the Midlands Business Awards earlier this month, we are over the moon to have won the award for “Best Company Culture” at The Business Excellence Awards BizX 2022 last night.
According to the official awards site “The Prestigious BizX Ceremony, honours the accomplishments, achievements, values and contributions of businesses and their owners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa… in an exciting setting of innovation, networking and education.”
We won the Best Company Culture award because we were able to demonstrate how we create a positive culture, not only within the business but also with our clients. We showed how we celebrate the achievements of our team members and how we continually implement measures to ensure all team members love working at DBS. Building the company culture is something we have worked hard on as a team as it is a priority for us, and we are pleased and proud that our efforts are being acknowledged and praised.
Our Managing Director Julie Priestley, who attended the awards said “Myself and Team DBS are thrilled to win the award for Best Company Culture. It is fantastic to receive recognition for our hard work over the last few years.”
We are always over the moon when we win an award, however to win one that is open to companies not only across the UK but also from across other continents, makes the win even more amazing, as we were against some extremely tough competition and some great companies from around the world.
The awards were held as part of the Biz X conference- a two-day event full of talks from a range of global thought leaders and experts in their field, with thousands of business owners in attendance to help learn from the experts, network with industry leaders and discover new powerful strategies that can be implemented to their own companies.
The award night involved great live entertainment and lots of dancing! To top it all off, Julie received the award from household name Clare Balding, whom she met earlier on in the day and managed to grab a lovely photo with her.
We cannot wait to see what else we are able to achieve for ourselves and our clients in 2022 and beyond!
