Getting to know Matthew:
I was born and brought up in Boston but moved to Lincoln after completing a Business Studies degree at the University of Lincoln. I’m a bit of a geek and enjoy understanding how things work, so I will often attempt projects at home, in the garden and on vehicles which sit well outside my comfort zone. I was never really interested in football growing up, but got hooked during Covid lockdowns, with a keen interest in Lincoln City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest. In my spare time I also enjoy keeping fit and spending quality time with my family.
Work History:
I was fresh out of university when I started at DBS in 2008, initially working on digital marketing campaigns involving SEO and paid advertising. Jobs of this nature weren’t exactly common in Lincolnshire at the time, so it felt like a huge opportunity to work in this industry when I saw the advertisement. I briefly left DBS and worked at Wilko head office dealing more specifically with website analytics and then returned to DBS as the Web Project Manager in 2014. I’ve worked in both core areas of the business and have a well-rounded knowledge of most of the services that we provide.

The people and no day is the same, it keeps you on your toes!
