Getting to know Thomas:
I was born in Grantham and have lived in Sleaford for almost my entire life. From an early age, technology fascinated me and from the moment I was first introduced to computers, there’s been a strong draw to them for me. Outside of work, I spend much of my time tinkering with technology old and new. I am also an avid fan of Formula 1, and motorsports in general, from the moment I started watching it with my dad as a child.
Work History:
I had gone through school and college with the focus on getting a job working with computers, and I joined DBS in 2011, as my first full time job after leaving education, as a junior web developer. Though my exact responsibilities over time in this role have changed, the core has remained the same.
What’s your favourite thing about working at DBS:
The variety that comes with working with so many different clients, all with different needs and technologies in use. Rather than focusing on one part of the overall picture to the exclusion of others, I have been able to develop my skills in a range of disciplines, across a range of platforms and technologies.
